Inspired by the film Journey to the West, my photography collection reflects on the fragile, fleeting nature of human existence within the vastness of the universe. The light from distant stars travels billions of miles, not with purpose or intention, but simply because it exists. And yet, “it arrives just as we happen to look up.” This random encounter, guided by nothing but chance, feels like a quiet love letter from the universe.

In that fleeting moment, love becomes our way of resisting emptiness—a fragile but powerful force that turns chance into purpose.
