HARLEM

Harlem is a multimedia photography and video project inspired by Langston Hughes’s poem Harlem and Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun. Using the poem’s structure as a call, the project responds with lived images and voices—an exploration of Asian queerness and the myths that haunt it.
