In this production of Persephone, Sophia Jade reimagined the bitter sweet story about letting go off the death through immersive staging and fluid movement. Creatively utilizing multiple areas of the theater, the show transitioned across five distinct scenes in under ten minutes—blending spaces seamlessly to mirror the emotional shifts of the story. Sophia directed the cast to use purposeful blocking that broke the fourth wall, drawing the audience into the grief and longing at the heart of the narrative.
